The True Temple Built Upon Jesus
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[a]? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”
– 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 (NIV)

Life Group Questions:
What is the strongest motivation for your behavior? Why do you do the things you do? Do you fear God’s wrath if you don’t “behave”? Are you trying to earn points with God or earn his favor? Or instead is the motivation for your behavior an eagerness to experience more fully the life Christ died for me to receive.
What’s our responsibility? If the necessary faithfulness to come to God is accomplished by Jesus then what responsibility is there for me in the relationship with God now?
Is growth in Christ important to you? Is it something that happens inevitably because it is the “Holy Spirits” job or what part can I play in my growth in Christ?
