Growing in Christian Maturity
UCC is committed to the growth and maturity of its attenders and members.
Throughout the year UCC offers various opportunities and environments for learning and growth. Our core classes are offered at least once a year, and consist of a Basics of Christianity class, a Membership class, and a Baptism class.
Growth classes vary in both length and subject, and are taught as needs arise within our community.
For deeper study, you can also look into taking classes or even a full degree at our affiliate school Agricola Theological Seminary. Contact Shaun for more info on this!
Core Classes
New to Christianity
In this Core Class, you’ll learn about the basics of Christianity, hear the answers to some of the biggest questions about Christianity, and some next steps for how to grow in your faith.
Membership
We teach a 2-part membership class, which will give you all the details on what membership looks like at UCC, and why we believe it’s important to commit in membership to a local church.
Baptism
This class will teach you what UCC believes about Baptism and is a requirement for you to baptised through UCC

Membership Classes
Are you ready to explore membership at United Community Church?
Here’s what to expect as you explore membership at UCC:
We teach a 2-part membership class, which will give you all the details on what membership looks like at UCC, and why we believe it’s important to commit in membership to a local church. We provide physical and electronic notes for the classes, and are happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.
After taking the second of the two sessions, we invite you to prayerfully consider whether you want to become a member of UCC. Within a few weeks, please fill out and submit this membership covenant form to tell us either yes, you want to become a member or no, you do not want to become a member. An Elder will be in touch with you shortly afterwards.
The next possible steps are to sign the membership covenant, have an interview with an Elder, and if membership proceeds, to be officially blessed into our church during a Sunday worship service.
