Order of Worship
10:15 (Espoo)
Hear God call you to worship through his Word:
Psalm 150:6 (ESV)
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!”
Let us worship the Lord!
Song 1 – Come, Let Us Adore Him (chorus)
Song 2 – This is Our God
Song 3 – God Omniscient, God All-Knowing
God Omniscient, God All-Knowing, with one voice and as one body we praise you and worship you! We stand on your perfect Word as we come before you with humble hearts, to acknowledge and confess that we all fail, time and time again, to live holy and sinless lives. You don’t call us to perfection, but you do call us to holiness, and that means that we need to confess our sin and also receive your forgiveness as we repent of our wrongdoing and pursue fullness of life in you. Hear us therefore, O Lord, as we together pray this prayer of confession.
Confession of Sin
Holy Lord,
you love us with fully perfect love,
but we love you with such imperfect love.
We constantly fall short of the standards of
your holiness, your glory, and your love.
Forgive us when we fall, and when we fail;
when we don’t love you like we should,
and when we don’t love others like we could.
Help us to truly repent of our sins,
and help us to walk humbly in your perfect will.
Renew us, Lord,
by your grace and in your mercy
and help us to live for you
and you alone
by the power of your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
Assurance of Forgiveness
Along with the psalmist according to Psalm 86:5, we declare and affirm that “you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
Let’s pray.

Hear the Word of the Lord:
“11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother’s righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
19 By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; 20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.24 Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.”
This is the Word of God.

Song 5 — Let Us Be Known
Song 6 — O Church Arise
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name;
your kingdom come;
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
24 The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
