What is a life group?
A life group (sometimes called home group or community group) is a group of people from UCC who gather together typically at someone’s home to discuss, pray, eat and study the Bible together (usually using materials for the sermon from every previous Sunday). Participating in a life group helps you to build relationships with others while growing as a Christian. Groups typically meet a few times a month.
During the summer season, we warmly encourage you to join the book study for robust discussion and warm fellowship.
What kinds of groups does UCC have?
Most UCC life groups will be continuing to follow our current sermon series. Each week questions for group study/personal reflection will be available on our digital bulletin. Some groups take short seasons to study additional material as well.
Most of our life groups are “mixed”, meaning, singles, couples, and families of all ages meet together. There are a few mens’ and ladies’ only groups as well.
We’re praying to see at least 80% of all of our regular attenders in a life group. If you’re already in a life group, great! If you’re not already in a life group, or have any questions about our life groups, please get in touch with Gabe (for Espoo groups) or Miriam (for Helsinki groups), or fill in the form below:
