Song 1 – Oh, For A Thousand Tongues to Sing

Psalm 145:8–13

8 The Lord is gracious and merciful,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 The Lord is good to all,
    and his mercy is over all that he has made.

10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
    and all your saints shall bless you!
11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom
    and tell of your power,
12 to make known to the children of man your[b] mighty deeds,
    and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
    and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Song 2 – King of Kings

Song 3 – The Creed (I Believe)

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him, all creatures here below
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Amen

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
    creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
    who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
    and born of the virgin Mary.
    He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    was crucified, died, and was buried.
    The third day he rose again from the dead.
    He ascended to heaven
    and is seated at the right hand
    of God the Father almighty.
    From there he will come to judge
    the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
    the holy catholic* church,
    the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins,
    the resurrection of the body,
    and the life everlasting.
Amen

Strength in Weakness: The Upside-Down Glory of the Gospel
2 Corinthians reveals the paradoxical glory of the gospel: that God’s power is made perfect in human weakness, His comfort meets us in our deepest affliction, and His life is manifest through our dying to self. This letter calls us to embrace the upside-down kingdom of Christ, where strength comes through surrender, victory through humility, and life through the cross.

2 Corinthians 1:1–2

1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Song 5 – His Glory & My Good

Song 6 – All Glory Be to Christ

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name;
your kingdom come;
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.

“‘The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”’

– Numbers 6:24-26

The bread and the cup will be distributed as we sing together. You are welcome to join in singing or spend time in silent meditation or prayer.

Please hold the elements until all have received; we will all partake together as one body.
