Praise God, from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him, all creatures here below
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Praise God for all that he has done

Praise Him for Jesus’ reign begun!
He came with love to make us one;
He will return, His kingdom come!

Amen.

The psalmist testifies:
Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will tell what he has done for me.
If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
But truly God has listened;
he has given heed to the words of my prayer.
Blessed be God,
because he has not rejected my praye
or removed his steadfast love from me.
In the strength of this assurance let us confess our sins to God
as we read the words on the screen together.
          ( —based on Psalm 66:16, 18-20, NRSV )

Most merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against you
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.

We have not loved you with our whole heart;

we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.

We are truly sorry and we humbly repent;

for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways,
to the glory of your Name.

Amen.

Having confessed our sin, we take comfort in the eternal promises of God through Scripture and we receive once again full assurance of God’s gracious forgiveness to us. Let us joyfully and with one voice proclaim the truth of forgiveness found in Psalm 103:12

For as high as the heavens
are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love
toward those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove
our transgressions from us.

          -Psalm 103:12

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom,
    nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
    and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
    and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
    I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
19 God, the Lord, is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the deer’s;
    he makes me tread on my high places.

Mind Your Feet

-Habakkuk 3:17-19

Song 5 – My Worth is Not in What I Own

Song 6 – Yet Not I, but Through Christ in Me

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name;
your kingdom come;
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
