The resurrection is not religious nostalgia or emotional comfort. It is the reliable center of the Christian faith. It declares that truth is stronger than despair, and that death does not have the final word.
C.S. Lewis once said that Christianity cannot be moderately important. If the resurrection is false, it is irrelevant. But if it is true, it changes everything.
This Easter, we remember a story that still speaks, still invites, and still turns the world upside down. A story that is not only beautiful, but also reasonable.

Frequently Asked Questions:
UCC morning services take place in the Espoo Christian School, in a building called the Valotalo.
Please come in through the main doors of the courtyard, where our welcome team will be ready to greet you and help you into the building.
You don’t need to bring anything!
If you want to bring your own Bible to follow along with during the teaching, that’s always a good idea – but we’ll show all the main texts on the screen as well.
We have a potluck meal after the service – see the next question!
We love sharing a meal together after our special services, and have a tradition of everyone bringing a little something to share. You don’t have to bring something, you are welcome to come as you are, take part and enjoy.
If you’d like to contribute to the feast, please take note that the building is strictly nut-free. We very much appreciate if you can bring an item that is fully ready to serve, preferably with disposable dishes (or very well-labelled dishes).
Thank you!
Children are absolutely always welcome! All of our services provide a nursery space for parents with very young ones, and we also have sunday school classes for most ages. Find out more at ucclife.fi/kids-and-youth
We are a fairly casual friendly bunch, and you are welcome entirely as you are! Please come in whatever feels most comfortable to you.
Some of us do like to dress up a little bit, but it’s not unusual to see jeans & t-shirts either.
If you’re already here, please feel free to speak with anyone who has a name tag! We’d love to help you out with any questions or concerns.
Otherwise, you can find our staff team contact info at ucclife.fi/contact or you can drop us a comment on social media (instagram or Facebook) and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
