We are warmly looking forward to the advent season with all our Christmas events, Advent & Christmas worship services, and the simple yet profound joy of being together in wonder at the birth of Christ incarnate.

Christmas Season Calendar
Welcome to the church office on Saturday the 29th of November for a morning together of Advent Crafts & Cookies!
Drop in any time between 10:00-12:00.

The 30th of November is First Advent Sunday. Join us for worship in Espoo at 10:30 or Helsinki at 16:00.
Join us for Second Advent Communion Sunday Worship ;we will take the Lord’s Supper at both our normal worship services! Normal service times at both locations.
Note that at UCC Helsinki we will have a “little Christmas” style potluck fellowship after the service – bring a plate to share!
UCC kids and youth ministry will have a potluck Christmas party at the church offices on the 12th of December. Welcome all 3rd-12th graders.

One of our beloved traditions at UCC is to have a combined Christmas service a few weeks into the month of December. Our congregation join together as one body and we always enjoy a little something special in these combined services.
The service will take place in the gym hall of the Valotalo (Matinkartanonkatu 13, Espoo), and we will have children’s program in English and Finnish for 3-5 year olds as well as pre-school to 2nd graders.
The service will be followed by a time of warm fellowship with a potluck lunch feast. If you contribute to the potluck, please bring your food in a disposable plate/bowl, 100% ready to serve. Remember: no nuts!

Welcome to a cozy singalong Carols by Candlelight service at Andreaskyrkan in downtown Helsinki at 5pm on Saturday 20th of December!
There’ll be lots of singing, a short devotional, and the reading of Scripture texts that take us through the gospel story from the beginning of Creation to the birth of Jesus.
All are welcome!
No childcare is available for this event, but we welcome everyone of all ages.
Join us for Fourth Advent Sunday Worship! Normal service times at both locations.
Please note, at UCC Helsinki, the 21st of December will be our last Sunday worship service before our Christmas break. The service will be followed by light refreshments of glögi & gingerbread.
Welcome to a cozy singalong Carols service in Kauniainen (Yhtiöntie 33, 02700 Kauniainen) at 6pm on Tuesday 23rd of December. All are welcome!
No childcare is available for this event, but we welcome everyone of all ages.
Join us for our last Sunday worship service of 2024 at 10:30 at our Espoo location (Matinkartanontie 13). We will have a morning worship service followed by a light christmassy fellowship.
Join us for our first Sunday worship service of 2025 at 10:30 at our Espoo location (Matinkartanontie 13). The service will be followed by a relaxed time of fellowship.
No Helsinki service on the 5th of January.
