What does it mean to be a UCC member?

Whether UCC is your permanent church home or your home for a time while you are in Finland we encourage you to pursue membership at UCC. By becoming a member of UCC you are committing to be part of a church family that will support and encourage you in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Members are also held to a higher degree of commitment, service, and sacrifice at UCC. We are available to answer any questions you might have about our membership process so feel free to contact us.

Membership Classes

Membership 1

If you are considering membership in UCC – even if you’re not yet sure whether you want to become a member or not – you’re very welcome to Membership 1 class. On this class you learn the basics about our church and there’s time for any kinds of questions as well.

Membership 2 & 3

If you decide to become a member after membership 1 class we encourage you to continue  to membership classes 2 and 3. Even if you hadn’t done membership 1 yet, you can still attend these classes whenever we have them. On these classes we discuss more topics that deal with the church and christian life such as discipleship, worship and christian worldview.
